Poster designed according to the contest organized by MUMEDI (Museo Mexicano del Diseno) in connection with upcoming (then) All Souls’ Day. The poster had to show the traditional ways of celebrating this day, graves, those who are gone, invidual attitude to the subject of death.
Since I remember I used to observe from the distance how all the people, including part of my family are decorating, adorning the graves with all kinds of bouquets, banches of flowers, clusters, bows and lightings.
The idea to decorate the graves of death people with ‘alive’ flowers, the process of slow passing away or fake flowers ‘forever alive’, which only after some time are getting more and more pale.
